Bio- based materials for functional textiles 

The textile industry is immensely based on novelty and advancement of higher execution incentive for the fashion industry. functional textiles are one of the most significant fields in textile industry and textile materials science. some functional and smart textiles band with the market covers a range of materials-both woven and nonwoven-used in applications such as  oil repellent textiles ,ultraviolet protective ,water repellent, flame resistant, cool feeling, jogging clothing, cycling textile, antifungal and antibacterial textile, ultraviolet protective textile, biomass briquettes functional textiles made from natural fiber, polymer and bio-based membrane.[Prof.(Dr.)M.D.Teli;2019].

INTRODUCTION :

Bio-based fiber manifested from renewable raw materials.textiles that are bio-based are derived from renewable resources including starch from corn and,cassava,sugar cane,pinatex from pineapple leaves [Prahl,A;2018] these bio-based materials are a substitute to petroleumbased product. therefore, bio-based materials are effectively bridges the hole into synthetic and natural fibers and wide range of uses in packaging, house ware, clothing, medical (sewing, vascular & tissue implants) [Yimin Qin;2016] and other functional textiles.

OBJECTIVE OF THIS STUDY:

To promising high performance lingering quality that claim of consumers.Bio-based product will be biodegradability avoids extensive recycling cost.[Richardson,C;2018].To obtain excessive dye exhaustion and minimize the cost of functional textiles. Specially medical absorbable and protective items.To achieving  mite-resistance, energy efficient non-toxicity and hygienic of textiles.

DESCRIPTION & RESEARCH GOAL :

A Varied range of textile product is being made from biosynthetic fibers. Dependency on petroleum-based resource is becoming more risky,Onward merchandise bio-based resources gives us substitute to creating textiles and apparel, while opening up advantage for new performance with less influence on resource use.[Mather,S;2018].Bio-materials will be ecofriendly.This research will encourage the future to analysis more elements of environment.

LITERATURE REVIEW :   

Although.Conventional textiles materials have some adverse feature that can not be withdrawn.However,Research of new textiles from natural renewable resource is necessary & essential not only apparels but also technical properties for good appearance,easy care,and deals with smart textiles:electronics,automotive etc. by advancement of technology

[Daniele et al,Monica et al,Fabien et al;n.d.].Bio-based product is uplifted processing for lower temperature yarn texturing and dying action for textile product.  

 

 

 

CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK:

Thereare some 100% bio-based, biodegradable, on-toxic polymers are polylactic acid  (C3H4O2)n,polyhydroxibutyrate-co-valerate(PHBV),and polyurethanes(wheat

straw).[textileexchange,2018,p.12;13] but, due to some obstacle of high brittleness(PLA) & Imperfect spinnability (PHBV) Both are not easy to use in textile. Nevertheless, blending of

PLA &PHBV into textile fibers provides us good result.Developed by the hong kong research

1.     Find out bio-based materials from natural resources and modify for fibre (e.g:sugar cane) 

2.     By checking fiber maturity,brittleness,rigidity,tensile strength when fibre can be found.

3.     If we get fibre then ahead with the support of yarn processing technology for functional textiles.

4.     If it’s need to dye following a set of parameters: (temperature,time,liquor ratio,Ph values).

5.     It should   maintain certified   rules of materials and textiles organization

6.     For manufacture of stockings this outcome manner correspond with the industrial   standard [HKRITA;n.d,]

7.     Final packaging and reach to the consumers with worldwide.

How to writte a motivational letter to study in abroad for textile engineering???


 টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এ  উচ্চশিক্ষার জন্য আপনাকে অবশ্যই একটি মোটিভেশনাল লেটার লিখতে হবে , সেই ক্ষেত্রে আপনাকে যে দিক গুলো লক্ষ্য রাখতে হয় তার একটি অনুলিপি নিচে দেয়া হলো।

 

1.
প্রথমে আপনার  পরিচয় ও পড়ালিখা সম্পর্কে  একটি ধারণা দিতে হবে। 

উদাহরণ :

Textile Industry has become the economic backbone of Bangladesh. More than 78% of the foreign currency comes from this sector .But it is really very miserable that there is absolutely no scope of higher study and research for textile professionals in Bangladesh. The person who wants to be skillful in this sector can only achieve a simple B.Sc degree as his highest academic degree as the scope of doing M.Sc or Ph.D. in the Bangladeshi Universities is very rare. So, In contrast, nowadays some private university offer M.Sc. degree so there is the obligation of going abroad for the higher study in Textile Engineering.

I would love share that very first quality I have is enthusiasm about research and precision of work. During my project work I had a practical experience on "..................... ”and it is under processing for publication in an international journal. If someone interested more such as permanent residence, he needs to be regular in German language course. Because, Germany is giving priority of German language. There are different universities for different studies on textile. Some are famous for fashion designing. Some are famous for wet process technology or dyeing or coloration, some are famous for fabric designing. some institute good for researching.

I suppose I should begin by highlighting the fact that ,I have searched many universities in the UK,USA, Netherlands , Sweden as well as in China. But the biggest thing is that no other country is flexible as Germany in case of the rules and regulations for an international student.

Though coming from a developing country and growing up in a financially middle class family, it has always been taking exception for me to for higher studies in abroad being one of the best textile university in the Germany,……x…….University will  enhance my conviction and  I will show my intelligence by your judgement and highest level of my devotion  by which both I and my country will be benefited if I would get this admission .

GSM TEXTILE

কতো GSM এর জন্য কতো কাউন্ট এর সুতা লাগবে তা জনে নিন

কি ভাবে বের করবা কতো GSM এর জন্য কতো Count (Ne) লাগবে, এটার সিদ্ধান্ত দেয়া এক জন টেক্সটাইল ইঞ্জিনিয়ার বা ফেব্রিক ইঞ্জিনিয়ার এর মুল কাজ।

এটি অভিজ্ঞার ফসল, তার পরও কিছু টিপস আসে যা ফোলো করলে আরো সহজে কাজের এর প্লান করা যায় ।

জেনে নিন কিভাবে বের করবেন আপনার কাপড় এর জন্য কতো কাউন্ট এর সুতা দিলে কতো GSM আসবে :

S/J = 4300 ÷ GSM

Pique=5200 ÷ GSM

Fleece=7200 ÷ GSM

Interlock=7200 ÷ GSM

1X1 Rib=6000 ÷ GSM

Lacost=5500 ÷ GSM

2X2 Rib=6250 ÷ GSM

Terry =6240 ÷ GSM

এখানে GSM এর ঘরে বায়ার যে GSM চাবে তা ওই GSM এর ঘরে বসিয়ে দিলে আপনি ওই GSMএর কাপড় তৈরি করতে কোন কাউন্ট এর সুতা লাগবে তা বের করতে পারবেন !

Pique= (0.146 x GSM )+57.16

Dabol Lacost= (0.167 x GSM )+64.36

1X1 Rib= (0.123 x GSM )+54.57

Interlock= (0.206 x GSM )+80.56

SPIRALITY

SPIRALITY :  Spirality is defined as a distortion of a circular knitted fabric in which the wales follow a spiral path round the axis of the knitted fabric tube.

   factors in fluencing spirality on fabric       

>the most prominient and fundamental factor contributing to the spirality in a knitted fabric (spirality is the residual torque of the yarn used ).

> if the twist level yarn is used for knitting the resultant loop  will no longer be symmetrical because of the inducced tortional starin in the yarn.

> the twisted yarn will have a tendency to untwist and release the torsional strain inside it in order to acquire the natural   configuration of a minimum energy state the yarn will attempt to rotate inside the fabric .thus,lifting one side of loop out of the surface  while otherside stays inside the fabric this distortion of loop symmetry gives rise to spirality  an inclination of loops like effect on the fabric .

  >the tightness factor for a knitted  fabric  indicates the relative loopness or tightness of a knitted lop in the space therefore it indirectly affects the fabric spirality by controlling the loop relation in the knitted structure .

>spirality may be eliminated by knitted alternate ends of "s"  and "Z" twisted yarn of equal but opposite twist level.

>resin treatment is sometimes used to reduce the degree of distortion due to spirality.
>however the complete elimination of spirality in single jersey made from single yarn is virtually impossible ,one can only hope to reduce the  angle such as extent that the customer will be satisfied.

> spirality of more than 5-10 degree  is clearly visible  fabrics of around 10 degree spirality are commonly processed although acceptability varies with the quality ,price bracket and end use of particular goods.
